When opening a Badge Type in Access It! Universal.NET v9.x, an error is raised stating '', hexadecimal value 0x01, is an invalid character. Line 1, position 1.
Access It! Universal v4 and older utilized badge types stored as a .BDX file type, and not as the .RDLX file type used in Access It! Universal.NET v5 and newer. The badge designer in Access It! Universal.NET v9.x discontinued use of the legacy controls that would allow you to open the older .BDX badge type, resulting in the error.
Access It! Universal.NET will need to be rolled back to v8 to edit and save badge types prior to upgrading to v9.
- Uninstall Access It! Universal.NET v9.x
