Overview

The Zenitel intercom integration allows the local workstation to interact with any intercom that supports the IC-Edge Driver. 

Access It! Universal.NET Licensing

The following licensing option must be enabled within the Access It! Universal.NET dongle and is a per client license.

• Intercom Integration - 1/x
• DVR Integration - 1/x

Only required when using using video enabled intercoms.

While DVR Integration licensing is utilized, there is no video recording.

Architecture

• Up to 64 total Zenitel IP devices
• Up to 10 VS Clients (PC clients)
• Up to 10 third party SIP devices
• Up to 10 Zenitel mobile clients
• Up to 10 telephone gateways are supported
• Up to 50 IC-Edge systems can be networked together

Intercom Configuration

Enable Intercom Integration

This is enabled on a per workstation basis.

1. Click File
2. Click Workstation Settings...
3. Select the Integration tab
4. Select the Enable intercom Integration checkbox
5. Select the intercom/handset device as the Associated Intercom Station
6. Check the Auto Connect on Intercom Select checkbox
7. Click Save

Adding The Intercom Controller

1. Navigate to the hardware tree from the navigation pane
2. Click Intercom Controllers
3. Click New
4. Enter the name for the Intercom controller
5. Select the Intercom controller type Zenitel IC-EDGE Driver
6. Enter the IP Address
7. Enter the Port number
   The default port number is 50004.
8. Click Save

Adding Intercom Stations

1. Select the Intercom Controller
2. Click New on the Stations tab
3. Enter Station Name
4. Enter Station ID
5. Click Save
6. Restart the workstation

Video Intercom Configuration

Video enabled intercoms require the Zenitel Video Intercom Viewer File.

Enable DVR Integration

While the Zenitel integration is using the DVR section there is no recorded video.

This is enabled on a per workstation basis.

1. Click File
2. Click Workstation Settings...
3. Select the Integration tab
4. Select the Enable DVR Integration checkbox
5. Click Save
6. Restart the workstation

Adding Video Intercoms

Each video intercom must be added as a new video recorder

1. Navigate to the hardware tree from the navigation pane
2. Click Video Recorders
3. Click New
4. Click Other...
5. Navigate to the Zenitel Video Intercom Viewer File
6. Click Open
7. Select Zenitel Video Intercom
8. Click Ok
9. Enter the name for the Intercom controller
10. Enter the Viewer URL
11. Click Save

Adding Video Intercom Cameras

1. Click New on the Cameras tab
2. Enter a camera name
3. Leave Camera ID blank
4. Click Save

Macro Configuration

When using the Zenitel IC-EDGE driver, a macro can be associated to a specific reader to unlock the door from the handset by pressing the number '6' and then hanging up the handset.

Unlock Door Command from Zenitel Handset

1. Navigate to Main
2. Select Macros
3. Select New Macro
4. Name the Macro appropriately
5. Click Next
6. Select Grant Access command and add the specific reader to grant access to
7. Click Finish
8. Navigate to Hardware 
9. Select Intercom Controllers
10. Edit the Intercom Station at the respective reader
11. Select the Events tab
12. Associate the Grant Access Macro under the Door Open Request Macro drop-down
13. Click Save
