Overview
Access It! Universal.NET 7.1 adds support for the Mercury LP-4502 controller to communicate downstream to HID VertX sub panels. Currently the HID VertX V100, V200, and V300 panels are supported.
Additional Notes
- Pulsing an output is not supported.
- V100's do not support OSDP
- V100's do not support F2F
- Default supervision on inputs uses 2K/4K
Access It! Universal.NET Licensing
The following licensing option must be enabled within the Access It! Universal.NET dongle and is a per integrated reader count license.
- Integrated Reader Count - 1/x
Installation Requirements
The HID VertX integration requires the following:
- Access It! Universal.NET min s/w v7.1
- Access It! Universal.NET optional Integrated Reader Count license enabled for the number of readers running on the system
- LP-4502 Series Controllers min f/w 1.280
Physical Addressing
A total of 16 VertX SIO modules may be connected to a single bus of an LP-4502 controller. The physical address of each SIO board must be unique and can be configured via a dial switch on the panels.

If Communication issues are occurring, remove the RS485 Termination from the LP-4502
Configuring Access It! Universal.NET 7.1
- Install and configure the LP-4502 series controller within Access It! Universal.NET
- Navigate to the Hardware section
- Select SCP’s
- Edit the LP-4502 series controller
- Set the SIO Port Speed to 38400 for the port the VertX panels are attached to
- Set Protocol to VertX for the port the the VertX panels are attached to
- Click Save
The LP controller board will reset. - From the left hand tree, expand SCP’s
- Expand the LP-4502 series controller the VertX panels are attached to
- Select SIOs
- From the right hand pane, edit the SIO whose address matches the configured address
- Enter a name for the VertX panel within the SIO Name field
- Set Model to the corresponding VertX panel
- Check Device Installed
- Set Address accordingly
- Set Channel accordingly
- Click Save
- Repeat steps 10-16 for each additional VertX panel
