Beginning in Access It! Universal.NET 5.2 the following new User Group enhancements have been introduced:
- Control if a login can be used within the web client
- Lockout a user after a specified number of invalid attempts
- Limit the number of people for a given User Group that can be logged in concurrently
- Granular control of access to cardholder images
- Granular control of access to cardholder signatures
- Granular control of access to cardholder biometric templates
- Granular control of assigning card access levels
Control if a login can be used within the web client
- Navigate to the Configuration menu
- Select User Groups
- Create a new User Group, or edit an existing
- Select (check) the option Allow web client login
- Click Save
Lockout a user after a specified number of invalid attempts
- Navigate to the Configuration menu
- Select User Groups
- Create a new UserGroup, or edit an existing
- Adjust the Maximum unsuccessful login attempts before lockout as needed
0 will never lock out a user. - Click Save
Limit the number of people for a given User Group that can be logged in concurrently
- Navigate to the Configuration menu
- Select User Groups
- Create a new User Group, or edit an existing
- Adjust the Maximum concurrent logins needed
0 will allow for an unlimited number of concurrent users to be logged in. - Click Save
Granular control of access to cardholder images
- Navigate to the Configuration menu
- Select User Groups
- Create a new User Group, or edit an existing
- Select the Permissions tab
- Expand the Cardholder Fields node
- Select (Photo)
- Within the right hand pane, assign access accordingly
- Click Save

- Within the right hand pane, assign access accordingly

- Within the right hand pane, assign access accordingly
