Classroom Extended Feature

Overview

The Classroom Extended Feature allows for the ability to toggle a reader between unlocked and the readers default mode upon a double swipe of a valid card. The Request to Exit (REX) will allow for free egress. The same valid card must be presented twice within 5 seconds for the reader mode to change. This feature will not work if the door is already in an Unlocked state.

The Classroom functionality operates during the Always Timezone and does not respect Card Groups. If this feature is needed to operate during a limited schedule, or respect Card Groups, separate Tasks should be created.
