The EP Web server does not have the ability to enforce password changes after a given period of time.
Password Test Strength:
Enabling or disabling SNMP can be performed through the EP's internal web browser. When logged into the unit, enable dip switch 1 and then navigate to the Users page. There is a setting named Disable SNMP that can be enabled/disabled. Once the setting has been applied, click Submit and then Apply Settings from the left hand menu.
The EP series controllers are implemented as a single body executable developed for a dedicated embedded application. They are not capable of accepting any external programs for execution (useful or otherwise). Therefore the EP series controllers do not require virus protection software running on the controller.
The on-board Mercury Operating System does not have ability to record system logs for monitoring/alerting.
