Symptoms

When launching the database configuration utility and connecting to a remote SQL Server 2012 Server or SQL Server 2014 Server or trying to log into the Access It! Universal.NET web client the error 'Index was outside the bounds of the array' is raised.

Cause A

The required connectivity components for SQL Server 2012 or SQL Server 2014 are not installed.

Resolution A

Install SQL Server 2012 Management Studio or SQL Server 2014 Management Studio on the application server. SQL Server 2012 Management Studio and SQL Server 2014 Management Studio can do downloaded off of Microsoft's website:

Cause B

The Access It! Universal.NET web client has a version mismatch with the Access It! Universal.NET software

Resolution B

Uninstall and reinstall the appropriate version of the Access It! Universal.NET web client.
